Nice, clean beach and not crowded

Very nice beach and nice also for kids, as there are shallow parts. However sometimes quite windy and big waves, that's why its popular among surfers and kitesurfers.
Great place to relax. Nobody tries to sell you souvenirs o anything all the time

Beach vibes
Aug 2020
As a resident in Mui Ne I never get disappointed with the beach , each time I visit it is just as beautiful as the first. Taking my dog for a walk in the beach is a pleasant experience as most of the people don’t get edgy around her. I would limit my time on the beach during holiday seasons though

Drowning deaths not being reported here and there are MANY! Two dead men lying on the beach as we walked by, not a word about it. Riptides galore as I have since found out drowning is common here!!!

Maybe visited in a wrong time of a year
Mar 2020
We were a bit disappointed with our visit to Mui Ne and honestly, it was an unnecessary D-tour en route from Ho Chi Minh to Hoi An. Hoi An beach and Da nang were much cleaner options. We visited in March 2020 and it might have been the low tourist turn out due to covid-19 but the beaches were all dirty, full of plastics and garbage. Apparently, resorts do not clean the beaches when there are no tourists. So if you are looking or a serene quiet place, Muy Ne in March is not it. The fishing village is nice, but we found the restaurant owners unfriendly and the seaside looked like a dump.

Not a secluded, undiscovered beach, but still as of March 2020 is free of major resorts and big hotels. Many tourist do come here and majority of lodging is on main Street parallel to the beach. The cafes and restaurants are reasonably priced. Weather in the beginning of March is perfect. Beach goes for ever, some front a guest house on some stretches there is nobody. In front of cafes guesthouses the beach is very clean. Ocean is perfect temperature, little breeze and unlike other places, the waves are small, so kids are not afraid to go in. Still a lots of fishermen are plying their trade,CSO it is very picturesque.
I came for 3 days and will stay longer.

Watching kitesurfers, swimming and chillen
Jan 2020
We don't kitesurf, but we just enjoy swimming there. The main reason we go there is to hang out at a local bar Club Chill.

Absolutely wonderful for wind surfers, it is extremely windy. We just swam, the wind is a bit of a put off, but the view is fabulous from all the local eateries.

Most of the beach has gone, whats left isn't great
Feb 2020
There is about 2km of sand left, of which about half has these huge long sausage-like bean bags in place to try & retain what is left of the beach

Normally I walk the beach where I stay everyday, here I did it once in 5 days.

I certainly wouldn't recommend it if you like a nice beach

MuieNe Beach - a bit disappointing
Jan 2020 • Couples
We stayed at a resort next to MuiNe beach . The sunsets & sunrises were beautiful but the water was dirty & murky and the beach strewn with plastics and dog poo with stray dogs running on the beach.
