We had a wonderful experience and I was very impressed that they did a hotel pick up for us, though we were about an hour away from the launch area. Our take-off was delayed a little due to some sketchy clouds spotted in the distance and the operator wanted to make sure we would be safe. In all things safety came first and we felt like we were in very good hands. Our pilot was previously the European ballooning champion (placed only 4th last time, which is nice of him to let others win once and a while) and has been piloting for 20 years.
When we landed, we were "baptized" with fire, earth, and champagne (you'll have to take the flight to hear the story behind this tradition) and were treated to birthday cake since two of us were celebrating birthdays soon. The balloon flight was the highlight of our vacation in Mui Ne. Highly recommended!

Thank you Pascalmuine! We take great pride in our pilots, who are gold and bronze medal winners in European and World championships. We had our flight today and it was amazing .My wife was very unsure if she actually wanted to fly but we convinced her and she loved it .
We were collected exactly on time by a nice clean car and the driver drove very well with care and caution and got us to the take off point quickly .
Once we had located the Balloon we met the team.What a lovely group of guys and girls .They were warm and welcoming even thou it was obvious they were busy with the preparations required for departure .Then once the Balloon was ready we all climbed aboard and then they gave us their full attention .They were relaxed and funny but at the same time professional and calming to those who were a little nervous .
The flight was wonderful and the views stunning , i know this area very well as i often ride my road bike out there but from above it felt like i was seeing it for the first time .We landed smoothly and well and enjoyed the Baptism ceremony .All in all a fantastic experience .

Thank you Paul C! And additional thanks for convincing your wife to fly :-) it is true that many people do not know what to expect from balloon flight, and are hesitant to book the tour. However, after the flight we see only happy and amazed faces. There's no better business than bringing joy to people.

If I could give 1000 stars to this company I would! This was one of the most memorables experiences of my life for many reasons. It was so amazing to fly a balloon, I definitely want to do it again!. The staff and the owner Thomas really care about providing the best service possible. We need more companies like this in the world that really care about making you smile and contributing to give you something that you will always remember. I will never forget the staff and specially Thomas and the pilot. Thank you so much for making this one of the most special moments of my life!!!

Tick your bucket list with Vietnam Balloons. The team handle my enquiry with good detailed info and follow up. The pilot is really skillful with his flight, I had an enjoyable ride & experience. The uploaded photos will not be able justify the view, however you will make unforgettable memories in your heart.

Hot air balloons remained the most exciting part of our Vietnam trip and Thomas and his team did the absolute justification for our expectations. I prebooked the Hot air balloon ride on 1st of April 2018. I would like to share my thoughts in three parts.
a ) Experience:
Thomas and his team were professional and courteous. Undoubtedly they will make the journey memorable and exciting. I liked the part when Thomas outlined the History of Hot air balloon rides. Don't miss that part. It is interesting to hear from him. There is a ceremony that follows which I leave that surprise to you to embrace.
a) Safety:
Despite being a doctor, I did overlook the fact that whether this hot air balloon ride is suitable for my elderly parents. My Father and Mom have bone and joint disease and when the pilot instructed for landing, they succumbed to the vigorous thrust of the balloon basket on the ground. However, rest of the adults managed well with the landing. Our Pilot Adam gave us clear instructions throughout the flight and hence It was a smooth experience for us. My Young friend who flew with his wife in another balloon had totally an unexpected landing( I would say 'traumatic landing')
The Pilot didn't insist the passengers to stay in the basket and bend their knees( this is a very important aspect to remember while landing.) and eventually things went haywire and His wife and he got injured.
While injury can happen on any flight but this is something I want my fellow traveling community to be aware that please be aware of your own physiological limits. Always ask doubts and get things clarified with the team before your flight.
Middle-aged to elderly or anyone with bone and joint disease please ask the team regarding the worst possible ways of landing in advance for your mental preparedness. I wouldn't blame this on the team, instead, i would blame this as shared ignorance on the Pilot as well as my Friend and his wife who assumed things
c) Value for money:
If money can't buy happiness then what else it's for? Thanks to Thomas for attractive discounts for 9 of us.
Despite the odds, Hot air balloon won my heart and stays atop of my memories from Vietnam. I will come back for next year Certainly.

I feel I must elaborate a bit on landing part.
While most of the time our landing are as soft as feather, there are circumstances of weather conditions where pilots need to opt for harsher landing. Harsher meaning there will be bumps into the ground, and one truly needs to be physically fit to a degree of average 70 year old person. It’s like jumping from 0,5 meter high wall - this is what we call harsh landing. If we predict landing harsher than that, we just do not fly.
You well pointed out that the pilot did not do enough to make sure safety precautions are followed through. The injuries you have mentioned were bruises on hand of one passenger - because of the bushes around the basket which pilot used for slowing Balloon down. We accept this is our fault of not insisting enough on safety rules to stay in the basket while landing and not stick out any part of your body out.
I’d like to point out that during our 21 year of operations in Europe and Vietnam, there have been 2 cases overall where passengers got physical injuries (bruises), and both cases were due to same reason: Pilot not insisting enough on following safety rules.
Overall, it’s our fault and we accept the criticism. More so, we are much thankful for it. The pilot in question was given a notice and should he fail to perform again, he will not only lose his job, but also his license right away.
For us safety of passengers is paramount. We cancel a number of flights if we see weather conditions are not suitable. We once again apologize for the injury caused. We take it very and very seriously, however minor the injury is.
For the future passengers I would like to make some points clear:
1. Do not stick any part of the body out of the basket while landing.
2. Be prepared that when we land it could be a bump into the ground. Same as jumping down 0.5 m height. It’s rarely the case (99%+ we land so softly you would not even notice) but please be aware of that.
3. Don’t leave the basket without pilot permission.
Dr. Kumar, thank you once again for your insights. The pilot in question is undergoing full scrutiny of aviation safety rules. Should those minor injuries repeat again with given pilot, he will be fired and lose the license for flying hot air balloon.
Given your rating we understand you enjoyed the experience.
Rest assured any fault of pilots will be punished in most severe lawfully possible way.

Both for me and my daughter it was a first time experience but for sure not our last time! The service was impeccable - from the very good driver who picked us up from our resort to the flight itself.
The pilot was outstanding, the flight the smoothest ride ever and the views of the sunrise over the sea, dunes and lotus lake was breathtakingly beautiful.
Definitely a highlight of our few days vacation in Mui Né!
Thank you to all of you - ground crew, pilot and organizational staff.

Thanks for your magnificent services. I have a very memory with you guys including lovely supporters, experienced pilot and friendly companies.
I left buzzing Saigon at night to come to the hot-air balloon field of Vietnam Balloons when it's still very dark, but soon I was inside the balloon basket and high up in the sky among the clouds. It's so imazing. I had oppotunity to look at the sun rising when I was on the clouds, it's such a spectacular scenery. The white sand dunes, rivers, green fields are interesting and unusual.
I enjoyed my short, safe and comfortable flight very much.

Time must have been passing very fast for you in the balloon: your flight lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes, yet for you it still seams short :-) Totally understandable, the impressions on this flight were overwhelming even for our seasoned pilot.

Yes, we operate during that period.
There is no age limit for elders, however elders must be in sufficient physical condition to stand in balloon for 1 hour while flying, and absorb a minor ‘bump’ into ground upon landing.

Is it safe for 3 and 4 ys-old childrens, who all under 120cm high?

I believe it is, but you should advise the company about the height of your children in advance as they may need to bring a small box for them to stand on in the balloon so they can see over the top of the basket (to enjoy the view). Also personally I would recommend if there are 2 kids there should be 2 adults so 1 adult can be in charge of 1 kid in case they are nervous at all as the pilot will be busy with flying the balloon.
