The bluebells were blooming in mid April hen we were there, but not in the incredible numbers you see in some photographs, and that could of just been timing but I think more likely its the photos being taken at the absolute perfect time and...More

That was an amazing experience. Seeing a forest with blue flower carpet alike. Fresh air and spring nuance just a few kilometers from Brussels. However, public facilities are disappointed. There should be a temporary small cafe for visitors during the season.

Our first trip to Brussels and we were there for 2 days only. We knew from the website that we would be visiting at the tail tail end of the bluebell season, and wondered if it would be worth it to go. We went the...More

Best place near Brussels to enjoy, walk, relax, smell, breath, take pictures... We went on the 24th of April and the place looked like the pictures we took and I attach in here. Stunning place and a must visit in Belgium!

The visit to Hallerbos was simply perfect - the bluebells are stunning and the whole organisation couldn't have been better. There's a free shuttle bus running from Halle station (at least on weekends), assistants provide free maps at the entrance to the forest and the...More

Well you dont have lavender fields in Belgium, but you have Hallerbos and the Bluebells! It's a sign that spring is in the air. A huge natural flora park preserved enough to provide visitors the experience every year. Not far from the capital - 19kms...More

We arrived late in the season, but were not disappointed by the "bluebells". Take your camera, but be prepared to NOT capture what you see. Get down on your knees and look across the forest floor at flower level. Incomparable!

I can't imagine why you would need a guide. It's simply a stand of trees. Plan to spend some time walking it. Any taxi could take you there.
