The Hallerbos is a beautiful forest at any time of year but especially for a two-week period in mid-April when the hyacinths are blooming and it seems if a purple carpet has been spread. There are numerous paths to walk, cycle or horse-ride and it's...More

We have been there twice: last year and this year and I must say we have two different impressions because we saw the same forest from two different perspectives. Of course, visiting it when wild giacints bloom is a must, but it is very beautiful...More

We were just lucky enough to be there during the bloom. It was a great experience. The light shines through the trees and unto the purple floors. It was a little crowded when we were there, but there's plenty of walk-ways and areas to get...More

This is a beautiful forest in every time of the year. In april you can admire the wild flowers and then it can get very busy!! There are different hiking tracks. They are marked with different colors. The yellow one is the longest, 7km.

I don't think you can lost yourself in this forest, the path are well indicated and there is a lot of people working to help the tourists. You will see a lot of bluebells but you can't go outside of the paths. Enjoy !

Hi ... There's no fee, but the intention is to not enter with bikes, motorbikes and others : just have a wonderful walking time to discover the 'purple flower rain". Enjoy !
