- Sarah W7 contributionsGood. This was a good theme park - not as big as the neighboring one so I get why it didn't open till 2pm. It got quieter nearer the end of the evening so maybe do the big rides later. Our main issue here was the limited places to get food. Only one opened and not till 6pm by which time we were soooo hungry so maybe be prepared to wait or take your own food in.Visited August 2023Traveled with familyWritten September 21, 2023
- SAW68Manchester, United Kingdom358 contributionsA theme park with 1 ride !Red Force is a great ride, although short, but other than that there's little reason to visit. There's a few ride's for younger kids and 2 indoor simulator ride's. These ride's seemed very dated although the park is relatively new, not helped by the dirty 3D glasses. The food is also poor frozen pizza and overcooked chicken in the 'italian' restaurant. There's a stage for entertainment show's but they weren't running.Thank you for your time to share your comments about your recent visit. But maybe if your a Grand Prix fan you would love it.. The roller coaster is something else , fastest and tallest in Europe it has to be triedVisited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 20, 2023
- rara rTrim, Ireland207 contributionsRapid ridesWe did this as part of a 3 park deal. The park boasts Europe's fastest roller coaster. Kids loved it. It only took an hour or two to do the rounds on an evening ticket. Cooler too. #ramblingstampcollectorsVisited July 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 28, 2023
- Richard S32 contributionsWaste of time without expensive fast passCame here in holiday in October. Opening hours were condensed and basically useless without a fast pass. We queued for one of the simulators for two hours, only to have to give up. There was a massive queue in the main room but the fast pass lane took all the spaces on the ride. They didn't manage the express tickets in any way. Would have cost 96 euros for fast passes for the three of us which is extremely expensive for a handful of rides that we'd already paid for.Thank you for your time to share your comments about your recent visit. - Jonathan HBelfast, United Kingdom16 contributionsLots of rides for children under 8It's ok but my 6 year old enjoyed it the most, most rides are for young children. The big main ride is a 2 hr wait time you can buy fast passes for the main ride at a cost of 30 euro I did it last year so wasn't paying that again. Worth going to see especially if you have young children.Thank you for your time and appreciation! - letswriteareview2024Aberdeen, United Kingdom61 contributionsDisappointing parkWas very disappointed with Ferrari Land. We entered after a day at Portaventura (which was brilliant) and sadly everything had such horrendous queue times. Now I appreciate wait times are standard with rides and normally I'd be happy to wait but we queued for almost a hour for the car ride with two small children and got nowhere near the ride before we decided to leave the queue. There was loads of unmanned cars going out on the ride so unsure why there was such a long delay. We then tried the other rides for small children and each of those were queued right out of there lines so we left the park. Not a park for small children. It also is only open 5pm-10pm off peak which is not ideal for wee ones. I don't think we would bother returning. Portaventura yes, FerrariLand no.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. The 5.00pm to 10.00pm opening isn’t great as is to busy Red force is the main attraction but with queues of 2 hours it’s a joke The kids rides aren’t much better with possibly the slowest operations I’ve ever witnessed in a theme park . Hopefully the open during the day in the future , otherwise it’s a complete waste of moneyWe apologize for the inconvenience caused and hope to be able to provide you with better service in the future.Written July 15, 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 12, 2024
- L18SUMStirling, United Kingdom2,055 contributionsJust okayOur family of two adults, a 9 year old and a 7 year old visited Salou for 7 days in July. We bought a 3 day ticket to visit Port Aventura, Ferrari Land and the water park. We didn't buy any fast passes. See my separate reviews for the main PA park and the water park. We got the train down to Salou having been in Barcelona for 3 days and we stayed in a self catering hotel about 5 mins taxi ride away (see separate reviews). The taxi from our hotel was never more than 12 euros and dropped us at the ramp down to the main walkway up to the theme park entrance. On day two of our visit we went over the main park at lunchtime as we had our Ferrari Land ticket and would stay later (it doesn't open until 16:00). We stayed for a few hours in the main park. For Ferrari Land, there's an entrance inside the main park so you don't need to get your hand stamped to get back into the main park (just use your QR code ticket). We were front of the queue at 15:45 and were first to get onto Flying Dreams (a simulator ride like Soarin' at Disney). Then we waited 5 mins for Marinello Grand Race (driving the cars around the track) before a quick visit to the shop. At 16:50 we started queuing for Racing Legends (another simulator ride) which opens at 17:00 and were first on for that but it's not as good as Flying Dreams. We got seats early, in the shade and at the front for the 18:00 acrobat show and whilst adults sat down, kids went on some of the kiddie rides behind it. The show is excellent with a variety of performers. We waited 5 mins for Junior Red Force (mini coaster) and be prepared as it's tough on your neck - I think it tries to simulate some G force like the actual Red Force ride. We headed back to the main park after this as there wasn't much else for our age of kids to do. Food outlets were limited (or they didn't open until later) so we went back to Sessimo for dinner and back on our favourite rides there. Our third day we visited the water park - see separate review. Overall, if we only had a ticket for Ferrari Land we wouldn't have come but as you could go in/out the main PA park then it was okay. So I wouldn't say this would be value for money as a standalone ticket for kids our age but as we had the 3 day bundle for the main park, Ferrari Land and the water park, it worked out well. Enjoy! We appreciate your feedback and your comments help us to improve our services. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future and offering you an enhanced and more rewarding experience.Written August 5, 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 31, 2024

Just read a handful of reviews and you’ll know. This place is just not worth giving up a day of your holiday for. Portaventura is amazing. Ferrari Land is amazingly bad. You’ll have read how long the queues are, and it’s no exaggeration. The queue for the “4D Simulator” was over an hour and a half and lasts approximately 5 minutes. But it doesn’t actually do anything. It barely moves, and the 4D effects are practically non-existent. If you are willing to wait 3 to 4 hours, the rollercoaster is fast, high but also very quick. Remember, the park is only open for 6 hours. The racing simulator is an extra €15. Although it’s brilliant!
The shop is ridiculously over priced, considering a baseball cap exceeds €50. You won’t bring back many souvenirs - a magnet is €12!
As a massive F1 fan, I was seriously not impressed! I’d give it a miss!

The main attraction here is defintely Red Force One without a doubt, which is amazing, we had a long wait in the queue albeit a bit longer because of queue jumpers which were mainly school kids! But was worth the wait. Those of you that have been to Thorpe Park & have been on Stealth, don't let the fact that this is higher put you off, in fact I preferred Red Force One more, it's such a smoother ride for starters but a bonus when you can get a video of your ride on a digital download. Well worth paying the money for it.
Although there aren't many rides it is still worth it. Even the drop tower Thrill Towers was good. If you buy the combined tickets for here & Portaventura you can visit Ferrari Land then head over to Protaventura when you're done. Would highly recommend & definitely will be back again!

Staying on site, we had two days free entry into Ferrari Land.
The park was a fair old walk from the Callaghans Hotel were we were staying, so we were all pretty sweaty when we arrived there. First impressions was great, the level of theming to make the park look like Rome and other parts of Italy were very impressive.
We'd read a little about the rides before we got there, and one of the rides Flying Dreams looked very similar to Disneys' Soaring. It turned out it the exact same ride technology, Disney must've licenced it to Portaventura World. The only difference being the dome screen was inverted, mainly because lots of the actions goes on below you, as you follow the Ferrari driving in locations around the world. We should've been in Florida this summer, so riding this Soaring variant brought tears to my eyes. It was very well done.
We later queued a long long time Racing Legends. We were all very appreciative of the excellent AC in the queuing area, shared with Flying Dreams, but it was a total let down. Like watching an Xbox racing game in moving chair... in comparison to Flying Dreams it was dire.
I understand why many probably moan about the park, maybe not enough to do, but as a family we enjoyed it.
We did the electric cars, a bit like a cleaner version of Disneys Autopia. The kids did the small coasters and rides.
All in all it was a fun couple of days.
A massive investment to build a completely new park, so there are always going to be limitations of what can be done initially.
There wasn't a big queue for Red Force, but no way would you ever get me on that thing :o)
Thanks for reading.

Let's start with the obvious, Red Force is awesome! Great ride and so worth getting on. Apart from that Ferrari Land is a joke. What is the point of it? A tiny park with its own entry fee when it clearly should have been a part of the main park. Theres nothing to do there and with the short opening hours all you actually have time to do in the park is stand for 3 hours in line to ride the 22 second long Red Force. The greed of Portaventura never ceases to amaze. Money money money is their main focus and guest satisfaction is hardly even considered.

We paid for this in conjunction with porteventura, however if we’d paid and travelled exclusively for this experience, I would’ve been extremely disappointed. Only two adult rides and queues were far too long to be standing about in heat for. The Ferrari show room was informative but limited in terms of resources. We had to pay for pictures sitting in Ferrari (we didn’t) which was a kick in the teeth after already forking out for entrance fees. Only spent about an hour in total in park before we had had enough. Restaurants were already shut at six so we got an ice cream from kiosk which was nice except they gave my boyfriend two scoops and me just one. I wouldn’t recommend this experience to family or friends, however if cars are something you are passionate about and you’re in the area go for it. (This is probably a given but if you or your family are sensitive to sound this is a big no)

First visit to park, we enjoyed exploring. It would be good to have some more flat rides for adults.
We really enjoyed our visit park is very clean and well themed. We visited as part of 3 day pass to portaventura with a day in ferrari land we booked prior and felt good value.
Addition of more adult rides or experiences would make this park even better.

This is probably the type of place which would be of more interest to genuine fans of F1. Don’t get me wrong… Red Force was incredible, although I did have to queue for 2 hours with numerous people who blatantly ignored the no smoking signs. Cough, cough. However, there wasn’t much else that really appealed to us, without enduring another long smoke-filled queue. The history of Ferrari was interesting, but didn’t like the strict “no photos”’ rule when sitting in the cars-just another excuse to charge you more. Speaking of which, my wife paid an extortionate amount to get a bottle of coke from a machine in the park…only for no bottle to drop out. When she told guest services, instead of helping, offering a refund or a free drink, they washed their hands of it, told her it was nothing to do with them and to ring the number on the machine. Only one problem, we don’t speak Spanish! Left a sour taste in our mouths. One positive: the live show was quite entertaining.

This "park" should be at most another area of Portaventura, with which shares the unacceptable management. The main attraction and reason for coming here is the Red Force, the highest and fastest roller coster in Europe. We arrived before the opening and took part in the rush for it, in an attempt to minimize the notorious waiting times. What we saw is horrendous. In most parks there is a rush for the main attractions at the opening, but what is unique here is the total absence of personell. I've seen people brutally push against each other, dozens of them (literally) jumping the line... and further, the numbers of the staff are inadequate and they are extremely slow. Consequently, the attraction stopped many times during the day (the first after not even 4-5 wagons!) and the queues soon reached a duration of over 4 hours. At 11 am were already 2 hours, not to mention the express pass line is not counted in the waiting times, which are therefore not but vague estimates. And don't think the express pass will save you, you'll wait for hours in any case, and there are queues even for buying it! Red Force in itself is a great ride, but also an engineeristic waste, considering that after the launch and drop it is finished, while this is only the starting point of many similar attractions in other parks. Apart from Red Force, there are few attractions and services, nothing worthing the pain. And yes, there are extremely long queues even for other rides. Do yourself a favor, avoid this "park".

Very disappointed with this park. Only open from 11-16, but realised you didn't need any more than that anyway. For thrill seekers there are literally a handful of rides, and despite reduced capacity due to Covid, queue times were still close to an hour. We had one day's entry to the park included with our hotel stay, but if I was paying to visit Port Aventura for the day I definitely wouldn't pay the extra to go into this park.

I had a joint ticket with Ferrari Land and PortAventura and came to this park first. There is only a few rides, all of which looked great but had long lines so it’s def worth investing €25 for a Fastpass for all of the rides. We managed to get on only 1 ride as the line was about 30 mins, everything else was well over an hour (and this was just after opening). There interactive journey if the Ferrari is definitely worth a visit if you’re a F1 fan. Souvenir shop was very expensive. Only spent about 1 hour here before going to the other park. Gutted I didn’t get to go on Red Force, should’ve bought the fast pass.

Hi is there digipass option at this park or is it not worth it as only 2 bigger rides? Wasn't sure if could use the one from portaventura Park if it's half days at each? Thankyou

Is Ferrari land worth a visit with a 7 year old? Also does anyone know if priority is given to someone with walking difficulties (I use crutches) when queuing?

There isn't much for the little ones to go on in ferrari land. My children are 6, 7 and 11 and none of them enjoyed this park. You are better off spending the time in portaventura.

Where is the best place to get tickets?
Written August 1, 2019
Some hotels have info Machines where you can buy and print off your tickets. If you purchase them over the Internet you will have to find a printer to print them off other than that you can buy them at the park but cost’s a bit more money other than that you could buy them before you go on holiday and print them off at home before you go on holiday.

When is the best time to go into the park? Early morning or towards the end of the day? Want to know the best time for a short queue for red force
Written June 12, 2019
Honestly aren't too sure I'm afraid with print outs. Ours came as a part of out travel documents to had to be redeemed. I'll assume if its got a bar code for each ticket you bought and printed off then it will work on the scanners at the entrance but I can't be certain, sorry.
