The mammoth diorama (only one in the world) as listed was interesting but not worth the hype. However the staff were very friendly and informative about the other artifacts like the dogsled and the two types of canoes. Considering it is by donation and you...More

I enjoyed the opportunity to talk with First Nations people about oral histories relating to volcanoes and about mammoths. I wanted to see the diorama based on a story about a snared Mammoth and to see constructed displays outdoors of caribou traps, bentwood tents, etc....More

Do not pass this little community by... what a beautiful little stopover. If you want to bypass the bustle of Whitehorse there is a gorgeous riverfront campsite with full hookups and laundry. Wonderful cultural sites. Loved it!!!!

Any effort at displays in the Yukon is much appreciated for the short tourist season. This display is small but very well done and the staff is friendly with local trips for camping and what to do and see.
