We visited on an overcast afternoon in August. The beach was busy but not crowded and the aqua park equally accessible, with no queues.
There is a cafe just by the beach and a kiosk selling ice-creams.
Since there is both a campsite and a caravan park nearby we had expected it to be busier, not least as it was a bank holiday weekend.
The beach is protected by a roped off area, under surveillance by life-guards.
Our boys loved the aqua park, and swimming was warm enough. A nice place to escape for an afternoon but felt a little over-engineered for a nature park.

Have stayed here twice - in July and again in October 2020.
The Mobilehome Park is just at the gates of the park. Staying here gives you free access when there is a charge in summer. It is free to enter the park outside peak season.

Lovely lake with lots of amenities for all ages.

Fab restaurant which is open in peak season. Really nice honest food and great to dine Al-Fresco in the current (Covid-19) climate.

Am sure this would be great for all ages abs types of visitors.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon in early August and queued for just a few minutes to get into the car park. We thought it would be extremely busy on the beach but there was plenty of space to sit ourselves down despite arriving mid afternoon. There is an area of man made beach with a section of the lake cordoned off for safe swimming. Both the water and beach are clean.

There's a small snack bar where you can eat on site or take away cold drinks and ice creams. Further up there's also a water slide and an area from which you an hire pedalos.

The admission charge is €3 per adult and €1 per child (under 5s free).

Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in the are with young children.

Dear Emma, Thank you for your message. We are delighted that you enjoyed your day. Indeed Saint-Cyr Leisure Park is free and accessible to all outside of the summer months, during which supervised swimming and access to water sports are available. In July & August you have to pay the entrance every day from 10.00am-6.00pm (Lifeguard on duty in supervised zones from 10.00am-7.00pm). We hope to see you again. Best Regards. Saint-Cyr Park team.

Hello Chloes, We are sorry that you were disappointed with the reception of the teams at the Park. The good atmosphere within the team should not affect customer satisfaction. We remind you, however, that the surveillance teams are responsible for enforcing the rules of the Domaine du Lac de Saint-Cyr and in particular respect for bathing areas and timetables. We came here with our 5 and 8 year old to enjoy the lake and the slides, paid to get in and was not informed that the slides were not in use! Two very disappointed children, with the people at the kiosk not bothered that they are taking your money but not informing you out of politeness that the slides have finished two days earlier than normal! Their response was ‘I can’t tell everyone that comes here that part of our facilities aren’t working’ erm why not?????

Lovely lake to walk around with bird hides, although the cover around them isn't good so the birds are scared away ! The walk is flat and disabled friendly,a nice afternoon out, there is a cafe but not always open.Would be nice for a cuppa after your walk and dissappointing when it's closed !

Dear Cyndy, Thank you for your message. We are delighted that you enjoyed your day at the leisure park of Saint-Cyr. Indeed the Snack Bar is not always open in low season. But from the beginning of April until the end of September it is open all day. We hope to see you again. Best Regards. Saint-Cyr Park team.
