Took kids to experience scuba for the first time and could not be happier. They arranged a charming instructor who spoke English, made the kids feel confident and assured. We loved every minute of it and would recommend to all.

I can only agree with the previous good reviews. Very experienced team, for each experience level there are very well trained instructors, with good mood, very humorous and friendly.
The dive sites are also excellent and enjoyable for every level. Great wreck dives and beautiful scenic dives with flora, fauna and a lot of fish.
Absolutely recommendable, have fun!
I’ll come back!!

I dives with these guys twice. They are fine people, kind and responsive. They also speak English which makes communication much more easy. Given the over all good organization and pleasantness of the dive masters I would have given a 'very good' were it not that there were two things that were not so pleasant that almost made me give a 'poor'.
- the first is that one of the dives was not in the marine park (the first dive). This was not a good dive. Sight was bad and the marine life was not good at all. Though my divagates were very nice, the dive itself was no good. My second dive was in het marine park which is only about 20 min further away, but made a difference of day and night with the other site. So why not dive in the marine park all the time?
- the second not so pleasant thing was that we ran out of petrol on the boat and were floating around for almost an hour. Apparently the fuel gauge did not work well and not for the first time. That does not give me a very professional impression.

It was incredible to dive with the CAP Port-Vendres for 10 days at the end of September; a perfect complement to 15 days of mostly technical (CMAS 2 & 3* training) dives at CAP Trébeurden (with whom they are absolutely not associated). Despite being only funded 3 years ago, CAP Port-Vendres is run like a very mature business. Cédric & Juju are certainly not beginners in the matter.
They have beautiful dive sites and we enjoyed every single one of our dives, diving in autonomy was great. The wrecks were awesome to visit, be prepared for those more technical dives (40m+), but with 3 dives a day on the schedule, your experience will still be great if you can't visit those depths. Pretty much zero hefting required with their organization and very very comfortable dive center.
Since the team often does wrecks at or below 40m as well as in-land cave diving they are very well versed in technical diving using side-mount, closed circuit (rebreather/adjustable ppO2), Nitrox/O2 decompression, and it was pretty interesting to witness them teach and use those techniques. IIRC they even provide EAN32 for free.
We can't wait to be back and try our luck again for the best wreck diving conditions and unbelievably huge lobsters.

I went there for a 5 days Technical Diving course and deep dives.
Impressive, Professional and Knowledgable staff & organization.
Reliable and quick gas blending.
Well equiped boats, full safety procedures.
Cherry on the cake: friendly people!
You will learn a lot, requestion yourself, (and particularly) if you already are a dive leader or dive instructor.
For sure one of the Technical diving center "place-to-be" in Southern Europe in the coming years , if not already...
Regarding recreational diving, as far as i have seen organization and sharing boat to dive sites, also perfect, and step by step learning.

For those who like short summaries, this is simply the place to go if you are in the area and want to dive, regardless whether you are an absolute beginner or a professional diver.
The bit longer version, me and my 10-year old daughter were in the beginner category and we both were amazed by the professional but still relaxed atmosphere, the level of attention and the good mood. We both took the discovery pack (pack découvert), which consisted of 3 dives, all in different places (they know where to go even when the wind is relatively strong, which happens a lot in the area). All went perfectly, we received detailed and comprehensive explanation and even saw a pack of beautiful/interesting fish (even a poisson de lune which seemed to surprise the staff as well!)
On the top, Jules, Cedric and Antoine are really nice people and my special thanks go to Mathieu, I'm really grateful for your encouragement and patience.
(Re more professional divers - I witnessed more than once how they are treated and as far as I can tell they were all happy with the service. Same applies to the group we went out with that went for their French level 1 certification)

Cedric and Jules are very professional also charming with a good sense of humor and in a friendly atmosphere you can discover all the treasures that this part of the Mediterranean sea has to offer. You name it: fish, corals, warm sea, many shipwrecks... The diving experience is excellent and also completely safe due to their expertise. Thanks for your welcome. CAP Port-Vendres I do recommend vividly!!!

Good structure, very well organized (Reservation, planning) with Sarah at the reception very professional who answers all your questions. The material is of good quality and always tidy after use.
Cloakrooms, showers, lockers.
We were well supervised for our 8 dives (detailed briefing and equipment control) on the different sites including a wreck dive. Groupers, congresses, lobsters, moray eels, airlocks etc... but also teeth and nudibranches were our diving companions.
The whole team is friendly and dynamic. We will be back with great pleasure.

CAP Port Vendres is an excellent club! The welcome is great, their seriousness does not prevent your relaxation. They are super professional but also cool in the human relationship. Trust and leisure are in order. Diving spots are controlled and adapted to the weather, the wind, remaining interesting. The piloting of the boat is top: no swell, no vomito. The 25 divers of our club, the GUC Diving, feasted: to be done again as soon as possible!!!!
