My family went to Grand Cayman over President's Day weekend in 2/2020. We stumbled upon Cayman University Divers because the lady we rented our condo from is friends with Brad. My son was almost 14 and we decided to do the intro to scuba diving experience. We actually dove with Alex that day and it was magical. He taught us the basics and then went deeper into safety measures. Although the basics for diving is kind of boring to listen to for a teenager, Alex made it interesting and was very engaging. We dove there at the Turtle Reef and had so much fun. Alex took it so slow and knew that I was very nervous about diving with my son. I am PADI certified but it was 22 years ago and I haven't dove in that many years! Our experience was so amazing because Alex made us comfortable, made sure we were safe, and was able to narrate from beneath the water and tell us what we were seeing which is a treat. We had so much fun we decided to go again the next day and ended up doing 2 dives with Brad on his AWESOME boat. Alex went with us and they also brought one of their friends who had a goPRO and filmed us the entire time. My word. We were the only two on the boat and they treated us like kings and queens. They were attentive, funny, told us great stories, were engaging, and seemed to enjoy our company as much as we enjoyed theirs. We saw EVERYTHING- we swam right by a sea turtle, saw a moray eel, saw an angel ray, and every color and type of fish you can imagine. Then when we got on the boat and they showered us off with fresh warm water to warm us up and then fed us fresh fruit they had cut up for our trip. I'm sure there are wonderful dive companies in Cayman. But seriously, I hardly ever write reviews but I'm only doing this because I LOVE Brad and Alex. We can't wait until it is safe to travel again because this is where we are going first. On these long days of quarantine my son and I look back at pictures of our trip and remember the joy and adventure of that day. There really isn't any reason to call anyone else. This is it. Call them. Tell them Amy and Aidan from Alabama say hello.

For the past decade every time we come to Cayman we dive with Brad, I bring down relatives , we dive with Brad, I have our sons visiting - we dive with Brad. The reason? A great small boat, personalized dive experience ..... Brad is the "real deal" and excellent dive master and works hard to make every trip the best ever. Every dive has been a great adventure to share with family and friends.

We used Cayman U Divers for the first time in December 2019, and had the time of our lives! We have been diving in Cayman for over fifteen years, using many operators, but Cayman U Has earned our loyalty! They took care of all of the details of our equipment, and have very small groups, but that’s not what sets them apart. They use a cool underwater communication set-up, so you won’t miss it when a pair of eagle rays swim by! Second, when I apologized about needing extra time to equalize, Brad suggested that I lead the group so that everyone was following my pace. No one has ever suggested that before, and it eliminated the stress of having my buddy have to wait on the bottom for me. Total game changer. Diving with Cayman U feels like you are jumping on a boat with your friends to go diving. These guys are completely professional, relaxed, and really fun to be around.

Brad and Alex are great dive masters and teachers. We have dove with them 4 times now and would not dive with another organization. Brad knows the island like the back of his hand as he has led Grand Cayman dives since 1984! Alex is a great addition to the team. Both are very hardworking, safety concious, friendly and courteous. These are narrated scube tours where they can tell you what yyou are looking at and poitn out things I would cetainly miss withotu their eagle eyes. 6 divers maximum so there is always a very personalized care. Another benefit is they usually start dives at 9am so you don'y have to get up early on vacation!

This is the second time we dove with Cayman U Divers. Nov 2019 and last April 2019. Brad gives you such a great diving experience and with his narration can point out things you may have missed. He describes the dive site in detail before the dive so you know what to look for. Its so nice to have a small group. The Nov dive was just 3 of us and a dive master. Last April we had our 2 sons with us. I would highly recommend Cayman University Divers and will certainly use them again!
