For his 10th birthday present, my son asked to become scuba certified.
Didn't know they could do that so young?! Neither did I... but his love of the ocean runs deep, and he was persistent, and so (with heart in throat!) I began to make enquiries. Fulvio and Sonia at Seahorse Diving School came highly recommended time and time again by other parents in Grand Cayman, and so we took the plunge!
Sonia and Fulvio are truly in a class of their own when it comes to guiding children through the process of becoming scuba certified. Their love of the ocean and natural rapport with young children was evident from our first meeting. They made the scuba theory accessible and broke the first few practical dives down into digestible sessions, which naturally built both my son's (and my!) confidence in his abilities. When looking for an instructor, it should come as no surprise that I wanted someone highly certified with many years of experience. That I found people who took the wellbeing of my child as seriously as I do, was simply priceless.
Fulvio and Sonia have furthered my son's natural curiosity for the ocean in ways well beyond any expectations we may have set for this experience. I am excited to watch him continue this journey, as his love of scuba continues to develop!
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I just returned from a trip to Grand Cayman, where I finished my open water diving certification. I am still completely blown away but the experience that I had working with Fulvio! From the moment I called him ahead of time, he quickly shared availability, answered my questions, and outlined what our four dives would look like. My sister is already certified as an Advanced diver, and it was no problem for her to come along for a small fee. I'd been concerned that I would have to go by myself and that she and I wouldn't be able to truly dive together.
Through the entire experience in Grand Cayman, Fulvio was extremely kind, fun, and very experienced. I always felt calm and safe with him. He even met our parents prior to our first dives which everyone really appreciated. I am 31...but still :D We had so much fun that we went out with him for two more dives once I was certified! This experience made my trip. If you can dive with Fulvio, don't hesitate and go do it. Also...ask him about where to go to dinner and he'll hook it up. Fulvio, grazie mille!

What a fantastic dive trip organized by Seahorse Diving School! Fulvio and Sonia accompanied and organized a dive trip to Little Cayman where we stayed at the Southern Cross Club.
The weekend was fantastically well planned and executed as we were a group of 20 divers including some children who dove as well.
Fulvio and Sonia are amazing instructors who take the time to ensure that all the divers are ok and well prepared for their adventure beneath the surface.
There is nothing like the smile on Fulvio’s face when he sees a shark!
I truly recommend learning to dive, diving or doing a dive trip with Seahorse Diving School, you will not regret it!

Sonia and Fulvio were highly recommended from friends that had visited the island before and got their open water certification with them.
It was my first experience underwater and I was a bit scared about but they made me feel safe and comfortable. They are very skilled and all the explanations were done clear and understandable and they quickly made me fall in love with diving, their passion for the underwater world is contagious. I got with them my open water and I will definitely now going for the advance

Everyone can take you diving, what Fulvio and Sonia do it’s just another level, they will take you for an experience that you’ll never forget.
Everything was meticulously well planned from the trip schedule to the accommodation and our was a group of 20 which, I believe, it’s not easy to organize.
Fulvio and Sonia attention to details is incredible, nothing is left behind to make sure you fully enjoy your dive and also your trip.
Their experience and expertise it’s incredible, they can explain you every little detail about the dive when getting ready on the boat so you will feel very comfortable before entering the water but most important while underwater (that’s also probably why a lot of parents trust Fulvio and Sonia to take their kids diving)
I’ll definitely recommend Seahorse Diving School when you are in cayman even better if you can be part of one of their dive trips to Little Cayman.
For me it was an unforgettable experience!

My 27 year old son and I had done a session in the pool in the UK but this was our first sea dive. Grand Cayman was the perfect place to do it although the weather had been a little windy and the sea a bit choppy. So the diving looked doubtful. Fulvio went out of his way to ensure we found good water at Eden Rock with great visibility and plenty to see. Sonia took us through the land instruction and was very thorough and calming. Into the water and we had both Sonia and Fulvio with us so one-on-one experience. Initial exercises with mask and respirator etc were a little tricky to start with but they are both very patient and ensure you get it right before you go on. And then we were off and we saw lots of colourful fish and coral. It really was a magical experience and I'd like to thank Sonia and Fulvio for making it so special, for making us laugh and for getting us to believe we could do it... and we did! They are a small family company and I have no hesitation in recommending these guys and we will definitely dive with them when we next visit GC. Thank you Sonia and Fulvio. Kim

I recently moved to Grand Cayman and was eager to complete my PADI Open Water certification. Fulvio and Sonia came highly recommended to me and they did not disappoint! Fulvio was fast to respond, immensely accommodating, had a good sense of humour and made me feel very calm and confident in the water. I am now hooked to scuba diving and cannot recommend Seahorse Diving School highly enough. Thank you!

This was the highlight of our trip! My 13 year-old son and I decided to learn scuba diving prior to arriving to Cayman. I found Seahorse Diving School online and connected with Fulvio on the phone and later continuously through WhatsApp. Fulvio has been a rockstar through out from setting us up with materials needed to registering us before we arrived on the island, to meeting us at our condo the day before our dive and throughout the dive process. He is warm, welcoming and greatly experienced to make the entire process feel 100% safe with maximum fun and learning. My son is now hooked!! And his enthusiasm convinced my 11 year-old daughter to want to begin her certification process and dive as well. So the three of us went back to Fulvio for her to learn and we all dove together. The water temperature is perfect and Fulvio made sure we enjoyed our experience to the max. Even his wife joined in the fun to get the three of us dialed in during our last dive.

If you have any reservations or feel nervous about diving at all, go with Fulvio and Sonia! They're the absolute sweetest and immediately make you feel at ease. From instruction above water before diving, to finding things to point out underwater, to debriefing afterwards, they offer a wonderful, complete experience. With so much experience underwater, they can find so many things to point out.
If you have the opportunity, do a night dive with them. It is the COOLEST experience!! I was very nervous to go for a night dive and immediately feel in love. Fulvio made me feel calm beforehand, spotted so much underwater, and answered all my questions afterwards.
In my personal opinion, you can't find better people to dive with!

What started off as my 1st ever recreational dive soon turned into a diver's certification course. Fulvio is highly knowledgeable and very experienced and i have never felt so calm and at ease starting something new like diving. He made it so easy to master the skills and understand the art of diving that i fell in love with diving as soon as i took my first breath under water. I am now a certified Open Water Diver and i will continue my dives with Seahorse Diving School for other advanced Padi certification courses. I would absolutely recommend them for beginners like myself who are clueless and not quite sure of how far they would like to end up with their diving skills because of their thoroughness in ensuring that you have an unforgettable experience, you master the right knowledge you need to stay safe while enjoying the adventure too.
