Nothing special
Oct 2018 • Couples
Our Seine cruise docked in Conflans. We walked uphill on the street to the chateau. We entered a spacious garden with a greenhouse at the far end. There is a view where you can see Paris from a distance. It seems that these grounds are rented out for weddings and other events. There is not much to see here. Conflans does not have much to offer.

Beautiful Grounds and Gardens
Jun 2018 • Couples
We walked around the grounds and gardens during our morning walking tour while our Vantage river cruise ship was docked in Conflans. The grounds or park include the Priory Castle which is home to the Museum of Inland Waterways, an Orangery, a metal and glass greenhouse and children play areas. To reach this area you must either climb allot of stairs or a very steep hill.

ENGLISH : I do confirm the previous remarks : this is a nice place to stay at, above the Montjoie Tower and the Saint-Maclou church. Some cultural events in summer, more rarely a few times in the rest of the year. All these places are near to one another, linked by streets or narrow passages, not far from the historical centre, don't hesitate to walk around to take profit of the nice views (from behind the Montjoie Tower, take the path leading up to the church and enjoy the view, for example).

Nautical Museum closed but grounds are open.

This town celebrates everything nautical. Many old Mariners are retired here. The grounds of museum are well maintained, spacious, and serene.
