Nice, but too far

The beach is beautiful, there is a kind of a lake. It has very few people, its more calm.
To get there, we walked an hour, had to pay for a little boat to cross the river in praia da barra and keep walking. And of course we had to walk everything again to get back. You can also pay a speed boat bit its too expensive.
Either way, I thought its too much work. The beach is beautiful but does not have anythibg differeNt of the maiN beach in caraiva.

Must see when in Caraiva!

This beach is about 1 hour walking from praia Caraiva. There is a little bar (barraca), very simple but absolutely magical. In September we were the only visitors. We had some fresh coconuts and a pastels from Satu. Leave early (8/9 am) because than you cross the river by foot before the high tide. On our way back we used a small boat for 5rhs.

Great walk

Walked over from Caraiva's river ( about 3km) Great walk and breathtaking views. Bring water and food in case you don't like seafood or "yuca" (mandioca). Depending they might not have electricity and might not have cold drinks. We had a fried fish "porção", it was delicious... Some people do snorkeling.

Excellent spot

Don't expect anything fancy there, just a spot with a great view and transparent water. Definitely worth the hike!

Simply amazing

This place is really amazing, but don't expect anything more than simplicity, because that's the beauty of the nature and the natives. And we should keep it as it is: without polution.

Have lived 10 years in Caraíva, I have been there many times. It's just ~6km walk from/to Caraíva and a bit more to/from Curuípe. Great to get there on the low tides, especially during the full or new moon periods.

quiet, beautiful, away from it all...blue skies, deep green ocean and white sand with coconut trees, perfection everywhere!
