I visited the winery in a group from Sweden in april 2016. A fantastic wineyard producing the most amazing wines. Even to the pope!! (I found the white wine to be my personal favorite!) You could not get a warmer welcome or a more passionate guide than Adriana! She made our group feel so at home and our lunch was... More

Really good. We came on an unexpected visit to their vineyard and Veronica one in the family took us on a spontanious trip around the farm. She explained some history of the wine and area, and we got to taste it of course - delicious . Highly recommended:)

Had a nice trip around the wineyard with the oldest daughter who telled us all about the grapes, the harvest and how the family had been producing wine for a long time. We ended up with trying both their white and red wine. You can also buy their wines, and some other products when you leave.

I am not really into visiting wineries, but this was part of the day excursion my sister had planned. I was pleasantly surprised. we were met by Adriana, which is one of the owners. she gave us a very informative tour through the vineyards and we could feel her passion and love of her land. that's what stood out most... This really is a peaceful spot between the city and the sea. The owner showed us around the vineyard explaining the history of place, how her family run it, her daughters help out and her grandchildren. We met the family pets, the adorable donkey and her foal, the horses , dogs and hundreds of goats! We tasted a variety of wines,... More

I've been many times to Rome and always went to the most 'touristic' places which are a MUST for Rome but becoming TOO touristic. This time I've decided to visit the outskirts of Rome and it is here that I met the best of Rome. Donnardea visit was the best attraction I could have made. We were greeted by the... More

My girlfriend and I decided to take a day out from the bustle of Rome to enjoy a little bit of the true dolce vita at Donnardea. I'd expected to be greeted by a nameless suit with a bright yellow sign, transferred to a stereotypical vineyard and hurried around a dark cellar with a dull, running commentary from someone who...
