Beautiful Botanical Garden. Rhododendrons were in full bloom and the walk through all the California Redwood tree was awesome. Great walking and also small hikes up and around hills in the park.

We came here a couple of days ago and the trees were absolutely amazing. The surrounding area is most definitely on par with anywhere else in the world in terms of scenery.

We were staying nearby in Glen Massan and spent a morning walking through Benmore Gardens. It was a sunny day and the Autumn colours were beautiful. Dogs are welcome on leads and the lower paths are wheelchair/buggy accessible. The café was nice, although a little...More

I can spend hours walking round this garden in its beautiful setting and getting good exercise at the same time. The lower part of the garden is suitable for wheelchairs but the most attractive parts involve steep hillside paths! Not the garden if you like...More

Yes, but keep on a lead. One of the beauties of Benmore is that there are many rugged, hilly areas that may prove demanding. On the plus side, you can take all day at your own pace!

Hi Yes, as long as you keep on the main paths. There are also lots of resting places even for the fittest walker.
