“Ganja through the centuries”
Chokak Turkish Bath was closed when I wanted to visit it. I read different versions of how it is used today: 1) an arts centre 2) a private bath of one of the Ganja hotels only (which I cannot believe because it is part of the Ganja UNESCO world heritage). Be it what it may, it…
It is closed, cannot go inside to see. Only thing to see are from out side, its walls.Only visit if you have time. Nothing special about it.
Passed by this place a few times and only now I realised you could enter, but didn't see the door ever open. Ironic that the public toilet is just opposite the bath house. Just an exposed brick building with a signboard on it.
Walked passed the baths few times and always found it closed. Located adjacent to the mosque near the steps leading towards the thearte!
This bath house is very old and you can feel the history while being in it and stunning the beautiful interior!
