There are a lot of over the top highly decorated Baroque facades in Puglia. Ostuni’s is not; it’s an inviting elegant interpretation that anchors the top of the old town. We really enjoyed spending time here and taking in all that this unique hill town...More

Worth walking to the centre of Ostuni to visit this Cathedral, or you can get a tuktuk up to the top. It is a beautiful building and should not be missed if visiting Ostuni.

It's not full of golden decoration, but it has beautiful paintings, frescos and marble-work. Open to all and yet still feeling special it charts that difficult divide between tourism and worship. No shop or cafe (well done) a must-see if you are in the area.

As man of the reviewers have said, this is not the most spectacular cathederal in Pugiia and it was a hike up the hill in the heat but it's worth a look with canvas painted ceilings and marble pillars.

It’s a nice enough church, but it’s just another church at the end of the day. Worth a short visit if you have some time to kill though. The church has beautiful ceilings, but the best part of it is the lovely rose window. As...More

This is at the top of a hill that’s a bit of a slog in the heat but it’s not too far and well worth the effort

It is very nice, not like Milan or Palma, as it is a lot smaller, we enjoyed the visit, and appreciated the religious side.

Amazing little cathedral squeezed between buildings of a hilly old town. Simple decoration on front facade. Looks great in late afternoon sun. A place to sit on its square for and enjoy the moment

Relatively simple Baroque cathedral. Definitely worth going in but it is not IMO a cathedral to spend a long time in.

The church is certainly stark, but will move you in the way simple interiors can. I mean to say, positioned in this sugar-cube setting, this large village is all languid charm with knotted alleyways curling beneath wrought iron balconies, stone staircases and sleepy cats. Lots...More

We didn't have a car for our stay in Bari, Puglia either. ... we traveled by train everywhere. ..there is a train from Polignano a Mare to Ostuni and then we took the local bus from the rail station into town. When we... More
