I stood there, looking what was happening.
There was hot springs going up.
We saw lots of hot springs. It was so beautiful.
The ground was mostly red.

If you stand on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and look at its grand waterfall, which is Lower Falls, you will see a steamy canyon glowing brilliant with pastel yellow, pink and orange with broken patches of green.

Yes it is open, the construction is at Tom's Trail parking area. You will pass it on the way to Artists Point. The parking is limited, September will be easier....but I would still try to get there early. It has one of the... More
Yes it is open, the construction is at Tom's Trail parking area. You will pass it on the way to Artists Point. The parking is limited, September will be easier....but I would still try to get there early. It has one of the smallest (fewest spaces) parking lots in the park.
It is certainly worth going, absolutely beautiful, I wouldn't miss it! Have fun, it's going to be a great trip.
