Extraordinarily beautiful place. We hiked, abseiled and waded through 1m high water in the canyon for 6 hours (with a local travel company as permits and equipment are essential). Saw ibix and many vultures. Loved every minute.
In our opinion, the best walk in Sierra de Grazalema is Garganta Verde, a spectacular canyon cut by the Pinar river. The canyon drops to a depth of 400m and is only 10m wide at its narrowest point.
