We visited twice on our two day trip to Seattle. Fish displays are awesome. We had lunch at Pike Place Chowder, a superb New England Chowder. We loved the various craft and food displays. It’s busy but fun. Well worth a visit

Between all of the restaurants and vendors there’s plenty to see and enjoy. Additionally, there are numerous venues surrounding the market to see and explore

Seattle’s crowded downtown is fun. We strolled its famous Pike Place Market and sampled sidewalk vendor seafood chowder, local breweries like the Old Stove and a few loops on the Seattle Great “ferris” Wheel at Pier 57.

What I would expect a market to be. Busy diverse with lots of different stalls and areas on different levels. Watched them throwing the fish and the queue for Pike Place Chowder was long so went back another day early.

The market was beautiful. So many different types of vendors and lots to explore. Try to find the hidden rooftop garden, quiet, beautiful and a great view.

Great place to be by the sea and enjoy what Seattle is about: a free spirited different American City with an open and welcoming mind. Trinkets, fish, produce, takeout foods, bars and restaurants as well as surrounding stores and art galleries. A key attraction!

You will notice homelessness in the city, however, we found it much less than San Francisco. Overall, the city centre was very safe and we felt comfortable walking around at night. The city is very clean. I enjoyed our trip... More

We did a great deal of walking during our visit, having no problems within the city attractions. Everyone walks or rents bikes to get around. There are plenty of city transportation, as well, to get you to places further... More
