It is a $20 fee per person for a 45 minute tour but it’s worth it. It was really interesting. You can’t go through without a guide.

We visited as part of the 3-1 Haunted Cemetery Tour, which placed the cemetery in historical and cultural context. I would highly recommend a tour (as some of the cemeteries can be toured on your own), if you are a first - timer.

It was my second time visiting the cemetery. I love the history of it and loved that I was able to share it with my mom.I can't wait to may the trip again soon.

We stopped at this cemetery whilst participating in the Fray Line City Bus tour. Our guide was very informative about how the grave system works and why they are built above ground. It is a huge cemetery and very impressive.

Walking around there a lots of locals to take you on a tour, we just took a while to look around by ourselves. Get the St Charles Tram from Bourbon street straight there.

Such an efficient way to take care of the deceased. Lots of famous people (historically) buried here. It is all very orderly and you can see the age of some of the tombs that are bricked and crumbling back into the earth....very interesting walk. Kind...More

We stopped here after a hop-on-hop off tour. They had provided a detailed map of different graves to go look at. That helped.

I had been here before this trip; but, this time to guide pointed out different and more detailed items of interest. I was rather surprised by the presence of human bone fragments in a few locations.

We rode the trolley and took the short walk to the cemetary armed with a guide on my phone. Once there we found a guide at the entrance conducting short tours for tips so we thought why not!? Best decision we made! Our guide Marcus...More

Went to check this cemetery out on a Wednesday morning. Had no issue finding parking on the street. The cemetery isn’t very large but you still feel like you can get lost in it. There are a lot of cool headstones and inscriptions.

I didn't see any dogs. It is a cemetery that is still in use and is not in anyway locked. I would think dogs would not be a problem.
