Spent one night and had a king suite with dinner included in the price!
A lovely room with great views out to the south Mt Jefferson and the Three Sisters!
Early snow but no chains required to get back to Highway 26.
Yes, it's an amazing hotel, but visit whether you're staying or not. It's a pretty drive up there to the location high on the side of Mount Hood, the vistas from it on a clear day are remarkable, and the WPA-vintage interior in "National Park...More

We visited the lodge after completing our Mirror Trail hike. The drive was relatively short and spectacular! I was amazed to see the skiers and snowboarders in late June! Had I known, we would have planned to stay in the Lodge for at least one...More
Mount Hood Meadows was closed in the interim between winter and summer operating; but we stopped here as they are open year round. Restaurant was closed for a private party but families were skiing and snowboarding. Gift shop and restroom and lodging available.

bring your board. Of course the amount of snow depends on the weather and with changing weather patterns who know for sure. We were there in august and they were still skiing further up the slope. You can go out to the Timberline web site and if I remember correctly they give you the average snowfall for the last few years
