These waterfalls are a bit of a hike from the parking lot, but definitely worth it. Such beautiful scenery...I could hang out here all day
Part of a self guided day trip through the Columbia River Gorge loop with my wife. Easy access off the road. Only about a 10-15 minute hike to the falls; moderately steep in spots but steps make it pretty easy. Gorgeous falls and worth the stop.
Walk the forest trails after a rain shower and feel your cares fall away like autumn leaves. Your boots will be muddy though.
Spectacular Falls is a highly recommended side trip along the Historic Columbia Highway. Round Trip is about 2/3 mile from the parking lot and, while it has a wide, paved walkway, does get quite steep in some areas. Fortunately, there are many benches to take a break.…
This is an easy walk in to the falls. The double fall effect wasn't as grand as I suspect it is in spring, early summer. No concessions and a couple different trails surrounding the falls to enjoy.
