With the exception of a couple of higher quality establishments, the Plaza is mostly cheap touristy shops with goods of questionable quality and origin.
Go one street over to Bent Street for a higher caliber of goods.
Seems that some of the older businesses are folding up. It needs some restaurants or something to attract more business. It was a busy Sunday afternoon in Taos but the plaza was a little dead compared to other areas around it.
