We took our 8-year-old grandson here and he was enthralled. There were several hands-on items, and a number of interactive videos. It made for a good few hours on-site. If we were back in the area, I'd certainly bring grandkids here again. That we belong...More

It was air-conditioned, the staff were absolutely amazing and awesome, and it was pleasant. I loved their Egyptian exhibit and all of the taxidermy. Dinosaurs were a little outdated. And I wish they had more on the megafauna. Overall, it was enjoyable.

I was in Las Vegas for leisure while my husband worked and thought that this museum would be a good way to stay away from the casinos. The museum is on need of some serious updates as many of the displays were so outdated. Not...More

Took my kids here because we had free admission through our ASTC passport from our local science centre. This museum clearly has budget and/or funding issues. It looks like a museum that looks to have been unchanged from the 70’s. A decent selection of artifacts,...More

If you’re sick of the Strip and all that it offers or the wonders of the Fremont Experience, take an air conditioned break from the glitz and sin and educate yourself for a couple of hours. We spent a quiet afternoon enjoying the exhibits, learning...More

I'm glad this place had cheap admission, but if you've got half a dozen kids it might not be so cheap. It wasn't absolutely horrible, but boy is it dated. I don't know when they opened but you can tell they haven't cleaned/dusted their exhibits...More

I've been to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History is this is nothing compared to that but still had some cool exhibits. Lots of live fish and reptiles, the shark pool was kind neat. A quick visit takes about an hour. Admission is $12...More

So many neat things to see during the festival and every year my kids especially look forward to going to the Natural History Museum. They have -ologists there and their palentologist are there year around. Live animals, animatronic dinosaurs and even a mummy. Plus, taxidermy...More

Did you know that dolphins are part of the whale family? That sharks lose teeth when they eat and replace as many as 25,000 teeth in a lifetime? That the teeth of a viperfish are so sharp and long that if it closed its mouth...More

We saw a frog fish and blind cave fish for the first time ever. The museum is a real gem that offers many interactive displays for young children.

It’s $12 for adults, but we didn’t pay much attention to the price for children. You can get in free with an ASTC museum membership.
