The Peruvian government is protecting the islands so they are not overrun like the Galapagos. You take a boat out, and around the islands, to see pristine wilderness and wildlife. A wonderful trip.

The cruises leave in the morning when the winds are calm and the water flat. The boats provide a fast trip to the islands and provide excellent views for all passengers. The islands have over 240000 see birds and seals. We saw Pelikans, booby, terns,...More

Go early. Bring binoculars and a camera. Wear warm clothes and be prepared to be amazed. We saw penguins, seals, and thousands of birds. Maybe bring a hat.

A must see if you’re able! Bring a sturdy jacket and towels for the likely bird poop you’ll get on you. Otherwise an amazing sight/tour

Thousands of birds, tons of sea lions, several penguins. Quite incredible. We’ve been to Galapagos and didn’t see close to this many birds, it’s cheap and well worth stopping here - we paid 25 soles plus 5 for the dock plus 11 for the national...More

There are multiple boats which fill up every 20-30 minutes. So, don’t worry about getting on a trip. They will chase you to book one.

Loved this tour! The islands are amazing. You've never seen so many birds in your life, including Humboldt penguins! Just don't forget your sunscreen and a hat or head covering of some sort is a must! You will get pooped on!
