It's a nice green square in the center of the old town. Unfortunately a bit congested with foot traffic and car traffic. So one rushes through it, too bad since it is simple and sweet.
This is a really pretty park.. love the historic plaques and info here. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy this being here in the oldest town in America, and rest after walking all thru town..
Laid down in 1572, this is the oldest public place in America. Weird collection of Confederate monument, bronze footsteps of civil rights activist Andrew Young when he got pummeled in 1964, and a small gazebo. Near a lot of the sites.
A really nice park setting with the Live Oaks and Spanish Moss to take a break and relax while exploring some St. Augustine History.
This historic park has beautiful Spanish moss trees covering the area. There are memorials, cannons and lots of history to explore here.
