Museums that have their galleries in rotational transit need to reduce their entrance prices to be fair to the visitors. Very few do so. This one did not. It has two floors and one entire floor was closed for rotation. No discount. The rest of the exhibits were humdrum.

They have a beautiful building, covid 19 procedures, great staff. Very good exhibits, visitors 80%- 90% locals, equally divided male & female, main ages 40- 70 yrs. old. Here's an exhibition you can be part of. Artserve and South Florida interdisciplinary artist Lizzy Taber have created a collaboration that explores our relationship with the ocean. Submit a photo of the ocean and a paragraph or two about the memory it evokes. It will be integrated into a mural, that will be installed in the Fort Lauderdale gallery.

I am so happy that I walked downtown to visit this fine modern art museum. Cool in every sense of the word, it offered art that makes you think as well as feel. The people who worked there seemed highly enthusiastic about the art and were very kind and friendly.

Really enjoyed this small museum on a recent trip to S. Florida. Had a couple of hours to kill with a few family members who are art buffs.

Parking across the street in a general garage was easy enough. I had to check my bottle of water, but I understand -- protect the art! One of the reasons this museum caught our eye was the Keith Haring exhibit. Even my teenager is a fan of his work. We all really enjoyed the collection, which explored the impact that the work of Pierre Alechinsky had on Haring. There were some amazing pieces!

We also really enjoyed the Lux et Veritas exhibit, which showcases works by Yale School of Art for graduate students.

Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and have a couple of hours to spare.

No, it's not the Met or MOMA, and I live in NYC, but I thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit to this museum to primarily see the Keith Haring-Pierre Alechinsky show. It was truly great. I knew nothing about Alechinsky and there were many, many Haring pieces that I had never seen, including the opening painting that had never been publicly exhibited before. In fact, I was a bit burned out on Keith Haring, but this show, by contrasting his work to that of Alechinsky, who was a major influence on him, really got me excited.

I also thought the other exhibits I saw, especially the photography, were terrific.

I liked everything about this small museum, from the exhibits to the friendly young people at the front desk. Do give it a try when in Fort Lauderdale, or especially if you live there.

Shockingly poor gallery half was closed for a new show setting up but was not told on paying for access to the gallery.

Bit of a joke when even the open upper level was not fully being utilised.

Staff clearly couldn’t have cared less when approached, only to be told the next display would be wonderful when completed if we came back another dayor view online…. Some excuse.

Sorry but wouldn’t come back even for if it was free with such awful attitude. Any professional set up could easily set up a new display either out of opening house or days closed (ie every monday) only place i have ever suggest be avoided at all costs. Definitely biggest rip off ive ever experienced when traveling.

My wife and I came here for a visit since we were in the area for other reasons. There's meter parking in a garage nearby. There are various discounts on the admission fee, including for young children, seniors, students, among others. Interesting, though limited, exhibits. Pleasant staff. Worth a visit.

Have a few hours available or want to do something and be out of the S. Fl. heat? Try the NSU art museum. Went with a group and enjoyed our time there. The variety of pieces made the visit enjoyable. Seems like a small bldg but when you get inside, space for art goes on and on. The Lux et Veritas exhibit was interesting. Metered parking and a public garage nearby. If you're a local, check out the museums FREE admission dates.

Stayed at the hotel across the street so popped in for a visit. Not that big and not that much to see, but we enjoyed it for a break in the day and something different to check out. Didn't take that long to walk through. The gift shop was nice. Bought a cute vase and fun things to look at.

Didn’t know what to expect but impressed with this gallery. So friendly and a nice variety of art to see. The location is also nice because after you can stroll along the canal. Great activity for cruisers to do before boarding ship.
