This is an air-cooled palace to maintain low temperatures inside the palace. Understandable given the high temperatures experienced in the region. It's ostentatious given the elaborate engineering for the comfort of a few.

historiansa have several theories about the lotus temple. To a visitor it's a refreshingly different architectural style than rest of the monuments of the same era of Vijayanagara kingdom. You will find it in Zenana enclosure.

A good open small palace near a well. A good picture can be clicked from the backside as compared to the front.

This was for the queen, and the design is simple but stunning non the less. The lines and the fact that it once had simple air conditioning for that time is pretty cool. the surrounding grounds are pretty also.
