Located on the west of Joburg Central. This town housed a number of museum and theatre at the border between these 2 areas. Is a nicer area compare to south part of Joburg Central.

The Newtown precinct with its squares and buildings is a nice attempt by Johannesburg to regenerate its downtown/inner city.

Newton is a neighborhood on the rise, a hotspot for cultural activities & up-and-coming creative business. Newton is ideal for a laid-back Saturday morning outing. You can visit the free museums & pop up workshop. With great cafe’s & coffee shops it’s ideal to unwind.
