So here we are in November before the start of the busy season. Beach is fairly empty so easy to move around and enjoy ourselves. 0 rocks on the shoreline, easy breaks for kids to learn surfing. Absolutely love it
Amazing sunsets here. (Go left when you arrive at the beach and walk across some rocks to a wonderful viewing point).
Great for surfers, not as good for swimmers (obviously waves!).
The sand isn’t the Philippines or Thailand, but is pleasant.

Tamarindo beach is busy and populated with lots of locals selling their goods. Everything from necklaces to coconuts. Eating lunch we had to decline at least a dozen people interrupting lunch trying to sell us something. Pretty beach but TOO much touristy stuff!
Just finishing up 3 months in Tamarindo/Langosta. Very pleasant for short term vacations if you don't surf. Most people here are here for the surf. We came to find out if we would like to live here. In our opinion NO. Miss the States with...More
