Great surfer learning waves. Almost 30 places to have beers and great food. Many more just across the street from the beach.

Small and friendly beach town, with fun shops and great beach front restaurants. Many activities are available on sign up basis no many vendors travel the beach

This is a nice, relatively clean beach. There doesn’t appear to be any lifeguards. Alot of access from bars and restaurants along the beach and a few public roads. Well worth a visit.

Tamarindo beach is busy and populated with lots of locals selling their goods. Everything from necklaces to coconuts. Eating lunch we had to decline at least a dozen people interrupting lunch trying to sell us something. Pretty beach but TOO much touristy stuff!

Could be the time of the year but the water was brown and sand was clumpy. Would want to experience Tamarindo at another time.

Just finishing up 3 months in Tamarindo/Langosta. Very pleasant for short term vacations if you don't surf. Most people here are here for the surf. We came to find out if we would like to live here. In our opinion NO. Miss the States with...More
