This is the first Buddhist temple I’d ever visited so don't have any others to compare it to. I found it a very interesting, beautifully decorated and particularly peaceful place to wander around. The views along the coast from here are stunning, and we had...More

An interesting place to visit. I don't normally visit places of worship (of any religion) and that aspect of the temple left me cold; the views over the bay though are fantastic.

A stunning example of a Buddhist temple high on the hill overlooking Sandakan. There is so much gold you need sunglasses. The shop inside sells all sorts of interesting trinkets.

Lovely calm place to take a while to come and rest away from the city. Ornate chinese temple with intricate dragons coiled around the many pillars. It's only RM8 in a grab. Great views from up here too.

This temple is not only magnificent in its own right but sits on the edge of a hill overlooking the gardens and the Sulu Sea. Amazing views
