Beautiful coast, amazing islands, nice people - Paraty was so good to us. We are a family of 7 - loved every minute in paraty, sailed to the islands with a local sailor, ate at various restaurants on the street, visited a museum and had...More

Lovely and scenic. We took a private boat which was cheap. Just negotiate with them and you will get a good rate. Boat was fine. Very relaxing.

We booked a 5 hour Paraty Bay tour. It was Carnival so all the boats were busy. We stopped at 4 locations to swim. The crew was efficient. It was a fun experience. The bay is scenic but busy with boats.

I had never so much as heard of this magical inlet/bay until we sailed into it. Have been back once. It's magical, with crystal waters and clean beaches that are empty. The surrounding hills and mountains are gorgeous. There's even a small town where one...More

We are not beach people, but getting out onto the water - albeit not in it - is a must if you visit Paraty. We motored around the bay for a while and stopped at a simple local joint on an island for drinks and...More

The best thing to do in Paraty is to hire a local and take a boat tour. We took the “Priscilla” and our local’s name was Maro. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Spanish but we spent 6 hours together. It was just...More

The best thing to do while in Paraty is to take a private boat tour and enjoy the bay with its islands, beaches and warm waters. You can do snorkeling and watch colorful fishes, see turtles, or just relax watching the mountains in the distance!...More

Take one of the boat tours leaving Paraty bay to explore the surrounding islands and you won't regret. Lots of nature and beautiful warm waters to enjoy.

Hi there! It is not a snorkeling boat. If you brought your own equipment you likely could snorkel though. These boats are right at the marina. You will see them when you walk down to the water. We stayed at a Pousada and... More

Aloha! Usually in hotels there are several phones of local guides that do this type of tour. At the hotel we stayed there was a guide who took us on a tour. However, as you come from a ship, it is best to inquire about this... More
