An excellent tour and presentation of how tea is made and the benefits of green tea. Chance to buy a good variety of health-giving tea (as well as other items). Surroundings in the mountains are very picturesque.

The National Tea Museum is a modern building with very attractive gardens. It does an excellent job of informing about tea--growing, picking, preparing, shipping, and drinking. Outside is a real tea plantation, where workers were picking the tea leaves (usually in March and April). We...More

I believe there is a fee. I traveled with Shanghai Outing Club. The trip was a hike of the tea plantation and visit to the museum with one fee for the entire trip. Highly recommend the hike.
