This is a great place to take the family for a stroll, go for a jog, or do some bird watching(there are a few birds to look at). The location is rarely crowded so one can really enjoy being in an open space. With the...More

This is a tourist magnet. Badger your prices. Real Namibian curio's. There are a small parking available. Make sure you lock your car and keep valuables out of sight.

Amazing sunsets while dining in one of several eateries present. Quiet, nice breeze, flamingoes, pelicans, seals and various birds. Very relaxing place and really good food presented by several chefs in the area. Local tribesmen selling trinkets in the parking lot, and a couple of...More

We came to the beach front for the flamingos and were not disappointed. Bring your camera. You hear the flamingos vocalizing and looking for food in the sands. Also further out they are sitting in the water. Something I’ve never seen.

Loved every moment walking on the pathway on the lagoon waterfront. It is a safe area and a flat, tarred path. The bird life is just amazing. Loads of walkers and runners every morning. Even ended up doing a park run on the Saturday morning...More

The Waterfront is an excellent place to stroll – clean, green and with lots of birds to observe. Main attraction are flamingos which may occur there in huge flocks (as they luckily were during our visit) as they feed there on tiny shrimp. But there...More
