“Worth a look ”
We were happy to have seen it as part of our explorations around Ipoh. There is so much to see in such a small area that you may as well have a look.
I didn't go inside, but this seemed to be the largest of the mosques in Ipoh. Fairly conventional design and relatively modern. Located near the clock tower and not too far from the railway station.
This is the State Mosque of Perak or which Ipoh is the capital and is located a short distance from the station as you go into the city. It was complted in 1968 and could be classified as 'modern'architecture. It was opened offically by Sultan Idris Shah II on his 54th birthday…
the mosque is clean and plenty room to park your vehicle. since it is situated at the city centre is so easily accessible from anywhere
the mosque needs to be extended to accommodate more people. The overall environment is good but can be improved.
