We went with an agency and were picked up at 4am in Pereira. We were told we were going on a 4x4 vehicle. The car that picked us up was a 4x4, but very very small, old and uncomfortable. So, make sure you ask what kind of car you will be traveling on! The driver was reckless

Really amazing experience! But prepare to wake up early ;) The jeep picked us up at 4:45 am. First stop is next to small shops where you can buy water and some snacks (really recommended to have some with you!- cereal bar, small chocolates, nuts etc. Lunch is after the trekking
