Aswan railway station is located in the centre of the city. easy access to all. I didn't use a train travel but I just visited the place to see, it is nice and passenger friendly.

We were at the Giza, Luxor, And Aswan stations and Aswan was the most lovely and beautiful. It was walking distance 6 blocks from our hotel max. The train from Luxor to Aswan was much nicer than the overhead train from Giza to Luxor. As...More

All worked very well indeed for Giza to Aswan overnight. Online booking for an overnight compartment for two people gave the wagon number, cabin number and two seat numbers and these were exactly what we had. Giza station, unlike Cairo, only has two platforms so...More

It is easy to lie back and get some well-earned relaxation after viewing the Sphinx and pyramids. There is security on board the train. There were no incidents or mishaps. The overnight train is a modern air-conditioned sleeper, with twin-berth beds. The beds are comfortable....More

Took the train from Giza to here, small cabins but the food was good and I slept well. Didn't stay long at the train station but not as crowded as others.

It's a very relaxed train station if visited at the right time. Busy in the day and very slow at night. If you need to buy tickets, try to do it in the evening, otherwise you'll be stuck pushing and fighting your way to the...More

We stopped by the Aswan Train Station Just because we wanted to see it in person, because we almost had to take the train from Cairo when Airline problems arose. Gladly our flight cleared. Not modern or up to date, but it is what it...More
