My husband and I decided to visit the Gobi desert quite last minute when we were at Ulaanbaatar recently. We were able to contact Amka at the Zendmen Travel Mongolia which turned out to be a great experience. We were very impressed with the tour...More

Really want to come back and explore this beautiful and empty space again. Clear skies at night mean stars and Milky Way visible. Don't expect luxury!

The gers were spacious with up to four beds. The amenities blocks were kept very clean. All the meals were good especially the evening buffet. The haphazard numbering of the gers meant finding your home was a challenge.

It's impossible to rate this in a few sentences, so I'll summarize - if you have an extra week and don't mind roughing it (and I mean roughing it: no baths, sleeping in gers and pooping in holes), find a guide and driver and check...More

We travelled through the Gobi Desert on a 6 day private tour of Mongolia. It was such an amazing place to experience! We visited during winter, and there was so much snow in different part of the desert that it just added to the amazement...More

Gobi desert was super nice. I went to there with my boyfriend in Dec of 2018. There were nothing. No tourists of course. We stayed in the local camel herder family. They use dried dungs of cattle as fuel for heading the tent. That is...More
