Nice feature of the Imperial Palace...beautifully crafted with an interesting history representing the dynasties of Vietnam.
In the courtyard of The To Mieu stood these imposing Urns, 1 for every emperor. They'd to stop at 9 as the war broke away and the remaining couldn't be finished. The biggest in the facility would be in memory of Minh Ming
As part of the ramparts of the Imperial city there are these huge cauldrons awaiting participation in the war effort. Andboff we go to war.
You see these when within the inner enclosure of the Imperial Palace. Nothing outstanding about them.
They are found inside the Imperial City. They are actually quite impressive for their carvings and size. It is also (sadly) interesting to see the damages provoked by the war.
