I visited the Pilsener Brewery with my wife. We received a warm welcome and since the next English tour was only in an hour we decide to have lunch at the restaurant on site. The local food that we tried was delicious and service was...More
Definitely worth the time but not very “authentic” any longer. Much of the tour is a bit like an amusement ride with the trip through the water running through the rocks, looking at yeast through a microscope and seeing a video of barley. You will...More
Can't recommend this enough. We were late due to a train malfunction but they were kind enough to put us on another tour. The tour was really informative and you can get some great pictures. At the end, you get a pour off one of...More

Beautiful old brewery in a quaint old town and out 40min Uber or cheap train ride from Prague. Stayed at an Airbnb a block from the town square, and 1/2 mile from the brewery. TIP: Take the Pilsner Urquell Tour! Amazing cellars!

you can get an unfiltered Pilsener Urquell in the souvenir shop, just in custom bottles (they also sell it there) or you go to the restaurant Na Parkánu. They are the only place in Pilsen which is allowed to sell the unfiltered one.
At the brewery is also a restaurant, you can only have the filtered one there.

Hi! The tour includes all aspects of the brewery, including the underground, a beer tasting, the processing plant, and ends in the gift shop. It was very enjoyable. Book your tickets in advance would be my word of advice... More
