A short distance from the Twelve Apostles - you can drive or hike there - the Gibson Steps is worth a short stopover. It is less crowded and you can take in the beautiful view without distraction.
The steps are toooooo looooong plus blowing with strong wind, I'm only able to stand at the top and snap photos. Due to strong wind and low temp, only able to stay to enjoy the view for a few minutes.
This spot provides another very good view of the coastline and was not very busy the day we were there. However there is now no access to the beach down the steps as these are locked off due to erosion.
Another stunning scenic spot - but must have had a slip recently as the steps are closed. You can’t get down to the beach from here currently.
My wife and I were here 9 days ago. There is a board sign at the entrance to the steps that states the steps are closed due to erosion. Strong waves have destroyed the bottom part of the steps. Visitors cannot walk down the steps to the beach anymore. However, the views are…
