Great example of Victorian architecture. Incredible tile work inside the station. The exterior is quite ornate - you expect to see a steam locomotive pulling into the station at at any moment.

It is a charming and delightful building representing the glory, the wealth and the strong attachment to the English empire of that time.

This has to be one of the most beautiful working train stations in the world! Externally its large and magnificent. Inside are marvelous rail themed mosaic tile floors, stained glass windows & ceramic framed ticket windows. Even the long platform is photo worthy.

There are plenty of parks near the railway station that are $5 for the day, pay and display. There are signs on the side of the road that will show what the maximum parking time is. The pattern seemed to be, the further you... More
