This is a must see area in Sydney. Pubs, restaurants and shops are all here. There is always something on the go and the harbour and the river traffic are great.

I was surprised by the number of really good restaurants of all varieties up and down the harbor. The ferry system was very cool too.

Come here by ferry and enjoy the boat trip, then go to the Maritime museum, it’s fascinating. Lots to do and lots of eateries. It’s a busy place so avoid if you don’t like throngs of people

You can get there by river taxi/ferry or if your energetic like us it’s a 35 minute walk along George Street turning off so far down towards the Opera house.
