Dunluce Castle is a ruin, however it is an amazing demonstration of the great work being done in uncovering the past. The views from the castle are nothing short of spectacular as are as are the castle ruins. Definitely worthwhile a visit.

Very interesting ruins in a beautiful setting. Located on a cliff along a beautiful coast. Well worth seeing if you are also visiting the Giants Causeway nearby. I also had a very interesting chat with one of the guides.

We were part of a tour group that stopped along the road to view this now-ruined medieval castle that was the seat of Clan McDonnell. It is located on the edge of a basalt outcropping in County Antrim, and is accessible via a bridge connecting...More

Dunluce Castle’s setting is magnificent. The ruin was not crowded when we visited and there is a stunning view from nearly every point. Staff are delightful.

This place is so much bigger than I expected and truly left me smiling. Such a wonderful ruin with some amazing views. Honestly the “help” had better views than the lords that lived here. Lots of history plaques filled with information to help you imagine...More

Visited in early October with family. 5.50 pounds entrance fee which did seem a little high for a castle ruin. The display on the archeology was interesting and the views around the ruins were spectacular. The cafe was closed and the gift shop was sad....More

I read a review to not go inside and just take pictures from the outside. So that is what we did. After driving away I wished we had paid to go inside to see the rest of the castle. It is a gorgeous castle on...More

I had wanted to visit these ruins since I had read about them in several fictional books. Located on a cliff edge, the views were amazing. The history was very interesting. This was one of my favorite places that we visited. There were very few...More

This castle is one of my favorite stop-offs along the Antrim Coast Road. The small entry fee of €5.50 was well worth it. The shell of this castle is completely in tact and there are many nooks and crannies to explore. The views along the...More
