The day our tour arrived it was very foggy and wet with on again off again rain, and then a complete downpour while coming down from the top. It did not matter, this place is spectacular. By the time we got to the bus to...More

This allowed me to go through basically without any stopping. And the Abbey is beautiful. Definitely worth the time to buy ahead.

The reviews are right. You have a couple of hours to spare waiting on stairs, if you have kids with you it will seem like forever. This is not a stroller friendly site.

Nothing like it anywhere!!! Went during low tide from Paris tour. The Abbey is gorgeous. Skip the line included in our tour. That’s a must to save a ton of time. Audio included. Sun was shining and holiday weekend and it was packed. Construction on...More

I'm glad I chose to purchase the skip the line pass to see Mont-Saint-Michel which is such a beautiful place. Although I recently traveled there and it was off season, there were still 20 or more people waiting for entry and I was able to...More

This was such an amazing site and there are lots of places to eat, shop, or just walk around and gawk at the architecture. It's so awe-inspiring to hear the story if how it came to be and to scale the steps to the top...More

Great place to walk off all those French pastries and take in some fresh sea air . Loads of souvenir shops and restaurants etc on the way up , it’s a must see place to visit if you’re in the area .

This is a beautiful historic site and has some excellent viewpoints. Plan ahead for the timing as it is very crowded, and everything takes longer than you expect (transport, navigating streets, etc)

We went to the abbey in the evening, after almost all the visitors had left the island, and were lucky enough to be there when the sound and light show was on (don't know if this is available all year). It was fantastic, highlight of...More

Stay on the island if you can. The hotels are old, but it's a wonderful experience being on the island after all the day-trippers are gone!

Depends on age and their interest in the history and architecture. I would say the tours are more for interested adults.
