There are a couple of churches and municipal buildings here and occasionally exhibitions and events. Several nice restaurants or near the square but not necessarily on it.

We loved seeing the Piazza Grande after seeing is so often the the Netflix series, The Medicis. Montepulciano was frequently featured in the series because of the resemblance to Renaissance Florence. Beautiful hill town with lots to see and do. Great restaurants!

We had a great experience using a company in Cortona for our visits around Tuscany. “Together in Tuscany”. Check out their website and contact them. They will do a great job putting visits around the area together for you.
