Wonderfully organised - must see when on Gozo. Try for the afternoon if you can - the view of the sunset would be amazing! Good gift shop and lovely staff too.

A large and ancient temple complex usually dated to around 3600BC. A must-see for anyone interested in Neolithic architecture. Sometimes classed as the 2nd oldest religious building in the world. Be aware that some satnavs take one to the old entrance on the east. The...More

Amazing well preserved monument to the megalithic people who lived there. Helpful staff. Well stocked gift shop. Quite a bit of walking obviously but plenty of benches to rest on. Also a great place to see the amazing black carpenter bees!

blows your mind as to how old this site is. Amazing and definitely worth a visit. Such a shame it has been abused/neglected in years past and amazing it’s still standing as much as it is.

This temple is older than the Pyramids and Stonehenge and yet not many people know about it. It has a very good visitors centre and you will need about an hour to do the centre and the site itself.

As there are so many reviews of the site already I'll concentrate on accessibility here. As a part time wheelchair user (I can walk a bit with walking sticks) it is always a good that when you want to see a place like this, which...More

An interesting site, with a smart if small museum tour. The actually structure is quite disappointing as during the 18th and 19th Century it seems the site was largely destroyed by people wanting more farmland and visitors who wanted to take keepsakes. The site is...More

A quick tour round the temple, which is quite a gem for students who read Archeology, however less exciting for a mere mortal. The interactive museum is good. Seeing as The Mill was part of the ticket, we visited it too and enjoyed it. It...More

There is a Gozo ticket that covers a few museums (some are not memorable but price is reasonable) at 13 euros (go to Hertage Malta website) They also have the multi site pass that covers all the Neolithic sites, all of the... More
