If you're interested in the history of WW1, and you probably are if you visit Ypres, then The Flanders Museum is a "must see". Interactive displays and lots of WW1 artifacts are on display.
Very well laid out interactive museum in central Ypres with very moving exhibits and displays - allow at least 2 hours to visit.
We haven't visited the museum for a while, all exhibitions had changed and the visit was very interesting and interactive. The staff were very helpful and it's well worth a visit
This museum gives a sobering insight into the lives of all those caught up in dreadful warfare. Its artefacts are well chosen, the videos etc. thoughtful and the words of Ivor Gurney truly set the scene
