This monument is quietly tucked away in the corner of a park (Wertheimpark), and in fact we first walked by it and didn't even realize it. This small monument reflects the agony associated with both Auschwitz, but also the Holocaust in general.

We visited early afternoon. The crowds were so bad tour groups were on top of each other that we couldn’t digest the information and sometimes lost our group. Definitely a must see, just choose your time wisely.
