I visited San Michele in Foro in August 2019. The inside had a very interesting altar and the outside had a nice tower. There is no entrance fee so it is worth going inside.
One of the major attractions in Lucca. The beautiful church with the impressive sculptured interior and exterior are highly recommended
But i’m Not impressed. Compare to other churches in Italy, fairly plain. Inside was plain too. But this is free to visit.
