Falling into a strange level of popularity between Juliet's house (heaving) and Romeo's house (nobody cares) the Tomb of Juliet or Tomba di Giullietta is one of Verona's landmarks relating to Shakespeare that is neither empty nor permanently busy. A curious attraction really, the alleged...More

"Is that it?" Quote from the teenagers after walking 20 minutes to get there. Thank goodness the entrance price was included on our Verona Card. I personally wouldn't visit unless you are in the area, it isn't the actual tomb of Juliet as she is...More

Having decided to go off the tourist track when we made our way back we found ourselves passing and thought why not since we are here. It’s an interesting place because it was hardly a tourist attraction and hardly anyone was there. There is a...More

Bearing in mind Juliet is a fictional character and the sign at the entrance confirms that the real tomb of the Cappulet family is based elsewhere. So we know that the tomb you are seeing is a fake, but it is based in a nice setting,...More

We stumbled upon this site by mistake as we were looking for other items. It is very plain and subdues without much fanfare. A quote and statue of the man in at the entrance

This was a really interesting place to visit in Verona. It also has a nice courtyard which is nice and it's connected to a art gallery.

Came here after going to Juliet’s casa. Interesting to link it all together but so glad we came on a Sunday where all museums cost €1 to get in. Not sure would have paid the full price otherwise.

At the end of the day its an empty sarcophagus of a fictional character. Nevertheless, the grounds are beautiful and the frescos are interesting
